There are multiple reports and video showing that a bridge under construction in northwest Missouri has collapsed with injuries and at least one fatality that is known at this time.

UPDATE: ABC News now reporting 3 workers were injured and 1 killed in the bridge collapse.

ORIGINAL STORY: KMBC 9 in Kansas City had a live video stream via helicopter showing the bridge that collapsed near Kearney, Missouri in the northwestern part of the state.

The San Diego News-Tribune is reporting that 2 construction workers were injured and 1 was killed in the accident. They report that the bridge is approximately 27 miles northwest of the Kansas City area. Concrete was being poured at the bridge when the structure collapsed.

No names of victims have been released by authorities at this time. As this is a developing story, details will be added when they are released and confirmed.
