(QUINCY)—West Central Illinois Task Force agents arrest two Quincy residents on meth production charges. Agents say 48-year-old David Day and 23-year-old Angel Smith were arrested after a search warrant was used at 931 Chestnut on Monday.

An 18 month old child was located in the house. Department of Children and Family Services took the child into protective custody. A shake and bake meth lab was seized along with marijuana, hydrocodone pills and drug paraphernalia.

Day and Smith were taken to the Adams County Jail.
