There were 60 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 reported by health department officials in northeast Missouri Wednesday.

The Marion County Health Department reported 34 new coronavirus cases Wednesday. That makes 1,354 cases since the pandemic began in March.

There are currently 231 active cases, with eight hospitalized, 1,108 recovered and 15 deaths.

In Clark County, officials report 20 new COVID cases, including two Clark County R-1 students, with the others ranging in age from 20 to 80-plus.

The Clark County case total is now 332, with 123 active, five hospitalized, 194 recovered and ten deaths.

And, the Lewis County Health Department reported six new coronavirus cases Wednesday, individuals age 20 to 90.

There have now been 440 COVID cases in Lewis County, with 91 active, 343 recovered and six deaths.
