Sammy Kershaw is a BIG name in country music and has his own hit list including She Don’t Know She’s Beautiful,” “I Can’t Reach Her Anymore,” “Cadillac Style,” and many more. Finally, Collin Raye has had a successful country career with his top hits “Love, Me,” “In This Life,” “Not That Different” and “If I were you” and the list goes on.

Melissa Shriver-Hackamack, a Director with the Adams County Fair Board, said in a press release,

“We are excited to have these legendary country music stars all on one stage in one big night, The ‘Roots and Boots’ Tour is an amazing way to see these award-winning, platinum record artists in the Tri-States.”

Just like most events last year, the Adams County Fair was cancelled due to the pandemic but is back and ready for a week-long fair filled with events and entertainment. The 2021 Adams County Fair runs from Wednesday, July 28 to Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at the fairgrounds located 15 minutes north of Quincy on Highway 336. For the latest information about the Adams County Fair you can find it on their website or Facebook Page.

To be honest, we have been waiting patiently to find out who was going to be the fair this year, and the fair board hit it out of the park. I am sure, like many of you, it’s going to be a great fair this summer and I can't wait to be back to one of Quincy's biggest events.
