2020 Adams County Fair Cancelled

Yet another area county fair falls victim to the COVID-19 pandemic.

On its Facebook page Tuesday, the Adams County Fair Board said they were sad to report the cancellation of the 2020 fair.

The post stated that, “after weeks of discussions with the local health department, local county emergency management, local and state leaders as well as fellow county fair boards, it has become clear that the guidelines of the phased Restore Illinois plan do not allow a feasible option for this year’s Adams County Fair event to be held.”

The fair was to have taken place July 29th through August 4th.
