2020 Quincy Grand Prix of Karting Cancelled

A major Quincy event that had already been postponed due to COVID-19 has now been cancelled.

The Quincy Grand Prix had been postponed from June to October 10th and 11th has now been called off for 2020.

In a press release, the Grand Prix race committee said they felt it was in the best interest of safety for spectators and competitors that the race should not be held.

They also said they made the decision with the best interests of the City of Quincy, the Park District and their sponsors in mind.

The 2021 Grand Prix of Karting is scheduled for June 12th and 13th of next year.
