Springtime in Branson

Understand that I am a Branson junkie. I'm always looking for a good reason (or even a bad reason) to visit Branson, Missouri. It might have something to do with the fact that the first time my wife and I visited there was on our honeymoon in 1995. We haven't missed a year since. We used to just go at Christmastime (our anniversary is Nov. 11). Then, about the last five years, we have also started visiting in May.

I say all that to say that I think we have found the best time of year to go. We just got back after spending three weekdays in Branson. We you go in mid-May, everything is open, the traffic isn't nearly as bad as it can get, and during the week, the crowds aren't that bad.

So, if you're thinking about going to that other Missouri tourist destination, late spring is a pretty good time to go. And, if you've never been and need a tour guide, give me a call.
