After a rainy Saturday and a nice Sunday, that nice trend continues into the last week of April.

National Weather Service forecasters predict mostly clear skies through the work week. Temperatures will gradually climb, starting in the mid 60s Monday, and winding up in the upper 70s by Sunday.

Nighttime lows will make a similar climb, with temperatures dropping to the low 40s Monday, bottoming out in the upper 50s by the end of the weekend.

Forecasters are calling for a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms Saturday and Sunday, which is only appropriate considering this is Dogwood Festival weekend in Quincy.
