Arrests Made in Burlington, Iowa Drug Trafficking Ring

A multi-year investigation by over two dozen federal, state and local law enforcement agencies results in five arrests on drug trafficking charges Tuesday.

In a press conference in Burlington, Iowa Wednesday, officials with the Department of Justice announced the charging of eight individuals in connection with a large drug trafficking operation in Burlington.

Of the eight who have been charged, five are in custody.

The five – Kendrick Page, Breon Raquon Armstrong, Lamar Harris, Tristan Davis and James Lewis Miles, Jr. – made their initial appearance in federal court in Davenport Wednesday.

Among the law enforcement agencies taking part in the investigation were the West Central Illinois Task Force, Quincy Police, Illinois State Police and the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.
