Dromey, Goodwin Get Probation for Drug Trafficking

A Quincy couple is sentenced Monday in Adams County Circuit Court on drug trafficking charges.

27 year old Kevin Dromey was sentenced to 30 months’ probation and 180 days of county jail time.

21 year old Emily Goodwin is sentenced to two years of Treatment Alternatives for Safe Communities probation and 90 days in jail. Successful completion of TASC probation will erase the conviction from Goodwin’s record.

Dromey and Goodwin pleaded guilty in June to calculated criminal cannabis conspiracy.

The two were arrested last September after a search of two Quincy homes uncovered two pounds of cannabis, drug paraphernalia, several firearms, two vehicles and $117,000 is cash.

At the time, authorities called this the largest seizure of drug cash in the history of Adams County.
