The St. Louis Cardinals Wednesday released their 2022 promotions schedule, and it is chock full of goodies for the Redbird faithful who head for Busch Stadium to take in a Cardinal home game.

No less than 40 Cardinal home contests will feature a promotion of one sort or another, usually featuring some kind of giveaway.

Six of those promotions will revolve around the last year as battery-mates for catcher Yadier Molina and pitcher Adam Wainwright, from Adult Mystery Jersey Day April 4 to a Canvas Print giveaway October 2.

In August, there will be a weekend-long commemoration of the 40th anniversary of the 1982 World Championship team. Giveaways will feature an Adult Embroidered 1982 V-Neck Jersey on August 12, a Bruce Sutter and Darrell Porter Final Out Bobblehead on the 13th and 1982 Mystery Player Championship Rings on the 14th.

The annual Purina Pooches in the Ballpark and Hall of Fame weekend events are back on April 30 and August 26-28, respectively.

Other promotional giveaways feature everything from puffy vests, purses and hockey sweaters to cornhole bags and soccer jerseys.
