Willow Care Hosts Medicaid Eligibility Program Feb. 11

With all the information swirling around these days about healthcare and how to pay for it, there are a couple of informational meetings you might want to look into.

A program entitled, "The Truth About Medicaid Eligibility," will be presented Tuesday, Feb. 11 and Tuesday, March 25 at Willow Care Rehabilitation and Health Care Center on Munger Lane in Hannibal, beginning at 7 p.m.

Subjects to be covered include Medicare and Medicaid planning, what items are exempt from nursing home spenddown, long term care issues and gifts to family members.

The public meeting will be conducted by attorney and elder law specialist Crystal Gallagher, along with attorney Joe Welch, both from the firm Cary, Welch and Hickman, LLP.
