Which City did a website rank as “Best for Fall Fun” in Missouri?
There are tons of great places to enjoy the fall across the Show-Me State of Missouri. But according to one website, there is one town that does Fall better than all the rest, and no it's not St. Louis or Kansas City...so which town is it?
According to the travel website called tripstodiscover.com, Branson, Missouri is the best place in Missouri to experience fall fun. On the site they say...
"If you’re looking for a place with endless attractions for the whole family, Branson is it. Visit Shepherd of the Hills Farm to pick pumpkins, take a Jeep hayride, and build a scarecrow. At Silver Dollar City you can enjoy the Harvest Festival which features incredible displays from local artisans by day with thrill rides and jack o’lanterns after dark. Sycamore Creek Family Ranch offers a corn maze, hayrides, old-fashioned family games, a hay bale fort and corn bin, and more."
I would argue that St. Louis with all of the breweries, and Kansas City with all of their bbq joints aren't exactly traditional fall fun places BUT would be more fun to spend a weekend in the fall for a guy like me. That being said I have never been to Branson so maybe it would blow me away.
The site goes on to rank the best places in each state for fall fun, and for our readers and listeners on the Illinois side of the Mississippi River, they say that Galena is the best place in Illinois. Why Galena? Well, Galena has a decent amount of ghost tours to take in their charming downtown, but mainly it has to do with their massive Oktoberfest celebration.
