One of downtown Hannibal’s most anticipated events happens this weekend.

Over a hundred exhibitors will line North Main Street Saturday and Sunday as the 40th annual Autumn Historic Folk Life Festival comes to town.
There will be food, arts and crafts and entertainment from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 to 4 Sunday.

Meanwhile, across the river is Pike County, Illinois’ 28th annual Fall Color Drive. Some twenty different communities in the county are putting their best foot forward, with a vast array of events taking place Saturday and Sunday.

The Early Tin Dusters’ weekend continues on the streets of Quincy, with the show and shine downtown Saturday, the car show in Moorman Park Sunday, and a host of other activities through the weekend.

And, the Country Colorfest takes place in Louisiana, with a parade, car show and Miss Louisiana pageant Saturday, and a motorcycle show, baby show, the duck hunt and Louisiana’s Got Talent competition Sunday, along with a full schedule of activities in downtown Louisiana both days.
