I saw this inspiring story trending on Yahoo News today.

WGN News out of Chicago shared the incredible moment when Detective Corporal Matthew Leveill in Posen, Illinois answered a call of an infant in distress. The mother and grandmother were frantic waiting for help when the detective immediately took the young boy and started CPR.

The detective continued CPR measures until an ambulance arrived and took over. His body cam video shows the infant responding and authorities say that his quick action may very well have saved the young boy's life as more time without oxygen could have been tragic.

If you're not familiar with Posen, Illinois, it's a part of the Chicago metro area. There are enough sad stories coming out of the Windy City on a regular basis. It's nice to be able to pass along something encouraging of a law enforcement officer who's fast thinking and action made a huge difference in the life of this young child and his family.
