A Brewery in Missouri named one of the 10 Best in the US in 2024

The US Beer Championships just crowned their annual 10 Best Breweries and one of the breweries that made the top 10 this year is from the Show-Me State! Here are the details...

According to an article from msn.com, Boulevard Brewing Co. in Kansas City, Missouri was just named one of the 10 best breweries in the US by the US Beer Championships. Some of the other breweries in the top 10 with Boulevard are Third Eye Brewing in Ohio, Monday Night Brewing in Georgia, Toppling Goliath Brewing Co. in Iowa, and Sun King Brewery in Indiana.

This is a major event, in the article, they say "For 2024, judges analyzed more than 9,000 beers across 170 different styles, submitted from breweries from Hawaii to Maine and all points in between." There are so many different categories at the US Beer Championships, everything from Best German Style Pilsner to Best Pumpkin Beer, and everything in between. According to Wikipedia, Boulevard is the largest craft brewery in all of Missouri. I stumbled upon Boulevard while living in Chicago years ago and I truly think their Unfiltered Wheat Beer the Hazy American Classic is one of the 5 best beers to drink during the summer months, some of their other popular beers include the Tank 7, the Dank 7, and the Pale Ale. I have been on many brewery tours and taking a tour of Boulevard is one of the big ones on my list that I still need to cross off, I hear it is a great tour!

BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery.
