I had to check the calendar to make sure it wasn't April 1. There's an urgent recall of popular detergent pods in Missouri and the danger of serious injury is no joke.

This bulletin comes from the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission. This wide-reaching recall affects 8.2 million detergent pods from Proctor & Gamble and it's due to a problem with the packaging that could cause them to release and result in serious injury.

Here's the problem. The outer packaging is supposed to be child-resistant, but there's a flaw that can cause a tear making it accessible to young children who could ingest it and suffer serious consequences. Here are the affected pods that are very commonly sold in Missouri and most other states.
