Two Louisiana residents are accused of stealing metal railroad anchors.
30-year-old Bridgett Hurshman and 37-year-old John Parsons are each charged with felony theft.They’re accused of taking railroad anchors from tracks along a county road near Ashburn last September. Authorities arrested the suspects after they allegedly tried to sell the metal.

The Pike County Sheriff’s Department and the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad cooperated in the investigation.

Hurshman will be arraigned January 9. Parsons is scheduled to be in court January 16.
