Among the players on the 2013 Cardinal Caravan in Hannibal and Quincy was one of the most exciting young players in baseball. Righthander Trevor Rosenthal made his major league debut last July and quickly attracted attention with a fastball that was routinely clocked at over 100 miles per hour. Nyjer Morgan of the Brewers was the first hitter Rosenthal faced. The result wasn't what Rosenthal wanted, (a walk) but his first major league inning was a good one.  On coming up with the Cardinals, Rosenthal says "Getting to St. Louis was a childhood dream and when that comes true, there's nothing like it."
