The experts at US News have released their annual high school rankings, they looked at over 24,000 high schools across the US, so which is the BEST in the Show-Me State?

According to the latest ranking from US News, the top high school in the state of Missouri is Metro Academic and Classical High School. Not only is Metro Academic and Classical High School ranked as the top high school in all of Missouri but it is ranked as the 99th best high school in the entire US.

What does US News have to say about Metro Academic and Classical High School? In the rankings they say, "Metro Academic and Classical High School is ranked first within Missouri. Students have the opportunity to take Advanced Placement® coursework and exams. The AP® participation rate at Metro Academic and Classical High School is 97%. The total minority enrollment is 52%, and 99% of students are economically disadvantaged."
