(Undated) – This is a weekend that you can literally travel in any direction and find a marquee festival.
In Hannibal, it’s the 36th annual Autumn Historic Folklife Festival, as artisans, craftsmen, musicians and others gather in the historic downtown area. The children’s parade kicks things off at 10 this morning. The festival runs today from 10 to 5 and Sunday noon to five.
Quincy hosts its annual Tin Dusters weekend as vintage vehicles of all shapes and sizes converge on Quincy. That also runs through Sunday.
In Pike County, Illinois, the annual Fall Color Drive runs today and tomorrow, with a wide variety of activities going on in just about every community in Pike County.
And, Louisiana’s County Colorfest runs this weekend.    There’s a parade, car and motorcycle show, baby contest, crafts, art exhibit, firemen’s combat challenge, entertainment and the Great Mississippi River Duck Race. Georgia Street in the downtown area in Louisiana is closed off for the weekend activities.
