Thurmond Arrested After Manhunt

(Center) – A New London man is in custody after a brief manhunt Friday evening.
22 year old Clint Thurmond had been wanted for parole violation. When he was spotted by a marshal near Center, Thurmond took off.

Law enforcement from Ralls County, Center, Hannibal and the Highway Patrol assisted in the search.
Thurmond was cornered in a corn field after about an hour. He’s now in the Pike County Jail.
