Three Hurt, Two Seriously, In Weekend NEMO Crashes

Both drivers are seriously injured in a two vehicle head-on crash on Ralls County Route P south of Center at 1:50 p.m. Sunday.

The Highway Patrol reports 49 year old Collin Waldmeier of Center was southbound when he crossed the center line and struck a northbound car, driven by 34 year old Alida Gower of Farber.

Waldmeier was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment. Gower was taken by Air Evac to University Medical Center in Columbia.

A Louisiana man escapes with minor injuries in a single vehicle crash on Pike County Route UU at County Road 162 at 7:45 p.m. Friday.

The Highway Patrol reports 24 year old Nathan Brown was eastbound when he failed to negotiate a curve and overcorrected, causing his pickup to run off the road and overturn.

Brown was taken to Pike County Memorial Hospital in Louisiana for treatment.
