Three Hurt in Quincy Crash

(Quincy) – Three are injured in a three vehicle crash on Illinois 57 at Radio Road in Quincy at 3:30 p.m. Friday.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office reports 54 year old Sheila Bell of Quincy was northbound, stopped at the stop light behind an Ameren service truck, when her SUV was rear ended by a northbound truck driven by 25 year old James Orr of Quincy. Orr told deputies he looked down for a moment and didn’t see the other vehicles. The impact pushed the Bell vehicle into the Ameren truck.
Orr’s passenger, 21 year old Leslie Doil of Quincy, Sheila Bell and her passenger, 53 year old Robert Bell, Jr. of Quincy, were taken to Blessing Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Orr was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
