Three Arrested in Monroe City on Drug-Related Charges
The execution of a search warrant at a residence in Monroe City Thursday results in three arrests.
A three-month long drug investigation led to the search by Northeast Missouri Narcotics Task Force agents.
The search revealed methamphetamine, marijuana, prescription pills and drug paraphernalia.
Taken into custody were 28 year old Michael Vaupel and 26 year old Billi Fahnstrom, both of Monroe City, along with 20 year old Abigail DeYoung.
All three are charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Vaupel and Fahnstrom are also charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.
The three were jailed on a 24 hour hold. Fahnstrom and DeYoung are in the Marion County Jail. Vaupel is in the Monroe County Jail.
