The website called thetravel.com came out with a list of the 10 Reasons To Visit Missouri (You Hadn't Thought Of), and their number one reason to visit Missouri is to relax at the beaches of the Lake of the Ozarks. That beat out other things on the list like hiking through caves, boating on the Mississippi River, and visiting the St. Louis Arch, so what about the beaches of the Lake of the Ozarks makes it number 1? On the site they say...

I have been to the Lake of the Ozarks and it really is a ton of fun, however, when I was there I never went to the beaches at the lake so that is a reason for me to make plans to head back. Missouri really is a terrific state to visit because it has something for everyone, there are terrific outdoor activities, great big cities, small cities, and historical landmarks, what is the reason you would visit Missouri?
