Do you work til 5pm and struggle to get to the small shops in The District during the week days to shop local before the small stores close? Well then mark your calendars for "Thankful Thursdays" in December so you can shop and support local with stores having extended late shopping hours!

In a Facebook event page called "Thankful Thursdays - Shop Late til 8 in The District" hosted by The District, they are giving you special chances to get all that Christmas shopping done while supporting local saying...

"Join our downtown retailers for Thankful Thursdays - Shop Late 'til 8 in The District presented by Blessing Health System.
#ShopLocal and let our downtown retailers help you find that perfect gift!
Join us on December 3rd, 10th, and 17th to finish checking those gifts off of your list with many sales and promotions at our downtown retailers!"

Here are some of the businesses that have already announced they are participating; Dame Hurdle & Co, Domestics, Etc. Maine Therapie Salon & Spa, Popp'N on Maine, Shaker Hill, Three on Maine, a Pop-Up Boutique, we will update this list as we learn of more businesses participating!

We all know how important it is to shop and support local, especially this year. But it is great to see the store giving us more opportunities to actually shop at their stores! If you are a small business not part of The District in Quincy but are still doing unique or extended holiday hours let us know so we can help you spread the word!
