Suspicious Package in Perry MO

(PERRY MO)—An unattended plastic jug containing what turned out to be water and a herbicide resulted in a call for Missouri Highway Patrol bomb squad members to Perry Missouri Tuesday morning. Ralls County Sheriff’s deputies also responded after a suspicious package was discovered on Main Street. A hazardous materials crew from Hannibal was also called in. Sheriff Paul Forney says initial field tests indicate the contents of the jug were 90 percent water and 10 percent herbicide.
