(UNDATED)—Significant wind related damage is reported around Monroe City. Workcrews were busy getting trees and other debris out of the streets. Electric service was out as well.  In Palmyra there are reports of damage to trees, buildings and billboards.

Monroe County Sheriff’s deputies report a tornado touched down south of Madison.

Half dollar size hail was reported in the Shelbyville area.

In Quincy, damage is reported to a traffic light and a business at 48th and Broadway, a bank building at 24th and Koch’s Lane and a trailer blown across a parking lot and into the front of Staples in the 3100 block of Broadway. Downed wires were reported around 36th and Ghost Hollow Road.
