South End of Hannibal Under BPW Boil Order

Most of the south end of Hannibal is under a precautionary boil order through Thursday.

According to the Hannibal Board of Public Works, the boil order notice went into effect at 8 p.m. Tuesday and continues until 8 p.m. Thursday.

The area affected includes BPW customers along Highway 79 from the viaduct to Sawyer’s Creek and from County Highway 453 west to Ely Street.
