Skip Bright Nominated to be Quincy’s Next Director of Administrative Services

Quincy Mayor Kyle Moore has tapped an area businessman as the city’s next Director of Administrative Services and Purchasing.

Moore announced Friday he will submit the name of John “Skip” Bright to fill the post to the City Council Monday.

The 69-year-old Bright has been Executive Director of the Quincy Business and Technology Center for the last 15 months. Prior to that, Bright was CFO of the Two Rivers Regional Council of Public Officials.

If approved by the council, Bright would start May 30th. He would replace Chris Kirn, who has served as interim director of administrative services since December.
