Rome Frericks New Quincy Park District Director

The Quincy Park Board promotes from within for its new Executive Director.

The board announced Monday that Rome Frericks will take over as executive director of the Quincy Park District effective September 24.

The 37-year-old Frericks has been director of parks for almost a year and has been with the park district for more than nine years.

Frericks succeeds Ed Seger, who is relocating to the Chicago area.
