Retro Video Shows 1990 Tri-State Pullers Event in Monroe City

If you consider yourself a fan of truck and tractor pulls and you'd like to take a journey down memory lane, I've found something for you. It's a retro video of a Tri-State Pullers event that happened in Monroe City, Missouri way back in 1990.

We have been fortunate to have some epic pulls over the years. The Palmyra Young Farmers have a rich tradition every summer around Marion County Fair time. I found this beauty almost by accident searching around on YouTube. It's the 1990 Tri-State Pullers 5800 modified FWD event.

I vaguely remember this event from over 30 years ago and apparently I'm not the only one. One of the YouTube comments mentioned that it included a legendary driver who recently passed away:
