Repurposed Grain Bin Now a Missouri Air BnB, and It’s for Rent
I don't know if it's still out there or not, but there used to be a TV show called, "You Live in WHAT?" It showed all manner of structures that had been repurposed into places to live.
You name it, it had been transformed into a home - factories, retail space, barns and even - wait for it - grain bins.
Our boss ran across this on line recently. There's an air bnb called Gathering Grains Lodge in Knob Noster, Missouri (her home town), which consists of three converted grain bins. We've had articles on this site before about old silo homes, but the boss didn't realize that sort of thing was, in fact, "a thing."
In the pictures below, you can see that, if you're looking to spend time away from it all, with rustic accommodations, room to run rapidly or stroll leisurely, water for fishing, swimming or kayaking and a place to enjoy the sunrise with a cup of coffee or the sunset with a glass of wine, you might want to check this out. And we haven't even mentioned the bonfire possibilities.
