Red Cross Puts Out Emergency Call for Blood Donors

The Red Cross has put out an emergency call for blood donors.

Officials with the Quincy chapter of the Red Cross say the need is great because of declining donations during the holidays.

The next opportunities to donate blood are this Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Red Cross Blood Donation Center on North 23rd Street in Quincy, and next Monday from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Hannibal.
