
Quincy Woman Arrested on Animal Cruelty Charges
An investigation by Quincy Police results in an arrest on animal cruelty charges.
On August 2nd, officers responded to a report of a deceased dog at a residence in the 1300 block of North 9th.
A search of the residence revealed the remains of a dog inside a kennel in the home.
An investigation resulted in the issuing of an arrest warrant August 14th for 24 year old Brittany Tears.
Tears was taken into custody August 20th on a charge of aggravated cruelty to animals.
Tears was taken to the Adams County Jail, where she posted bond and was released.
