Quincy University welcomes its largest class of incoming freshmen in over twenty years as the 2016-17 school year begins.

The 287 members of the freshman class mark a three percent increase over last year.

In a press release, university officials noted that this year’s freshman class is more geographically, ethnically and racially diverse that last year.

QU also announced a total full-time undergraduate population of 1,044 and an overall enrollment of 1,171.
