The nation’s largest food industry redistributor announces a major contribution to Quincy University.

Officials with Dot Foods, headquartered in Mt. Sterling, announce they are making a $1.3 million dollar gift to Quincy University.

The check is part QU’s effort to raise $7-million dollars over the next five years to pull the school out of a financial hole.

This is the third major gift to the school since the fundraising effort was begun last November. Dot’s gift gets QU to about halfway toward its goal.
