Quincy Shooting Investigation

(QUINCY)—Quincy Police say a man found suffering from a gunshot wound in a residence on Grant Drive at 9:40 Tuesdya evening is being treated at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. Police say they were called to the Indian Hills Housing Area in reference to shots fired. The man was initially taken to Blessing Hospital and then flown to Springfield. Police say the investigation is ongoing but preliminary evidence suggests the shooting was self inflicted.
