Quincy Shooting Investigation Continues

(QUINCY)—Quincy Police continue an investigation into a shooting late Tuesday night. Police searched a residence at 637 ½ State early Wednesday morning.

28-year-old Shawn Davis of Hannibal and 24-year-old Deonta White of 637 State were taken into custody and questioned. Police say the investigation is ongoing to determine if Davis and White were involved in the shooting in the 600 block of Lind. No charges have been filed concerning the shooting at this time.

Police say a suspected controlled substance and a handgun were seized during the search.
