Quincy Police, U.S. Marshalls Do Sex Offender Compliance Check
The Quincy Police Department and the U.S. Marshall’s Service conducted a sex offender/violent offender compliance check in Quincy on Tuesday.
Quincy Police report 55 offender addresses were checked. Of those, 34 were found to be compliant and living at their registered addresses.
Authorities were unable to contact 19 of the offenders. They will be rechecked at a later date.
Two offenders were found to be non-compliant and possible charges are pending for violations of the Illinois Sex Offender Registration Act.
