Quincy Police Make Unlawful Restraint Arrest

Quincy Police are called to the area of 30th and State just after 8 a.m. Friday on a report of a past disturbance involving a threat of force by a man with a BB gun and a pocket knife.

An investigation led to the arrest of 47 year old James Douglas, who was in possession of a pocket knife and a pistol style BB gun.

Douglas was charged with aggravated unlawful restraint, and on a failure to appear warrant for cannabis.

Douglas is lodged in the Adams County Jail.
