Quincy Police End Attempted Child Abduction Investigation

Quincy Police has called off its investigation into an attempted abduction Tuesday night.

Officers received a report of the attempted abduction of a ten year old girl in the area of 14th and Elm between 9 and 10 p.m. Tuesday.

An investigation has determined that there was not an abduction attempt, and Quincy Police are no longer looking for suspects or a suspect vehicle in connection with the case.
