Quincy Police Conducting Death Investigation

An incident handled by Quincy Police last week has now become a death investigation.

Just before 9 p.m. on January 10th, officers were called to a home in the 300 block of Cedar.

Police found a man and woman in the home who both appeared to be having medical emergencies. The two were related and both lived in the home.

Both were taken to Blessing Hospital, where the woman died Wednesday.
Police do not know the cause of death, but an autopsy was scheduled for Thursday afternoon.

The investigation continues, but police do not believe there is any public safety concern resulting from the incident.
