Quincy Police say they have found the 14 year old boy who had been reported missing a week ago.

Brandon Ray Ross was reported missing after walking away from the Blessing Behavioral Center on April 22nd.

After following up on reports Tuesday morning that Ross was walking through the city, police took the boy into custody about 12:10 p.m. near 7th and Chestnut.

The Quincy Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating a missing 14-year-old boy.

According to police, Brandon Ray Ross escaped from the Blessing Hospital Psychiatric Unit on April 22. He is described as an hispanic male, height 5'5, 114 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Ross was last seen wearing a white zip up hoodie with a plaid pattern of blue, green and white and blue jeans.
