UPDATE: The Quincy boy who had been reported missing Wednesday night has been found safe.

Quincy Police report ten year old James Aaron King was found about 8:20 a.m. Friday at the Church of St. Peter near 26th and Maine.

King’s mom had reported him missing about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Quincy Police want to thank those who submitted tips and Emergency Management Director John Simon and the Tri-Township Fire Department for using a thermal imaging drone to assist in the search.

Quincy Police are asking the public to be on the lookout for a missing boy.

Officials report ten year old James Aaron King was reported missing by his mother about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday.

King left his residence on his bicycle about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday to play with friends.

James Aaron King is a white male, five feet tall, 100 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a green and silver Under Armour hoodie and black pants. His bicycle is blue and silver.
