Quincy Police Announces Results of ‘Click it or Ticket’ Enforcement

The Quincy Police Department announces the results of a recent Click It or Ticket seat belt enforcement.

Between November 14th and the 28th, Quincy Police joined other state and local law enforcement agencies in a seat belt enforcement mobilization.

During that two week period, Quincy officers issued 47 seatbelt citations. There was also one DUI arrest, one arrest for a suspended or revoked license, four citations for no insurance and 43 other arrests or warning tickets.

Police remind motorists that whatever the time of year, anyone caught not wearing a seat belt will be cited for a safety violation.
