Quincy Park Board members vote to enter an intergovernmental agreement for development on the Quincy riverfront.
The 5-2 vote in favor does not commit money but allows the effort to move forward. Adams County Board members and the Quincy City Council approved the agreement earlier this week. Adams County contributes 250-thousand dollars toward the project. The City of Quincy approved 150-thousand dollars in TIF funds for the proposed riverfront master plan. Formation of a riverfront committee is next.
