Quincy Man Pleads Guilty, Sentenced for Sexual Abuse

A Quincy man is sentenced after pleading guilty to sexual abuse charges.

In Adams County Circuit Court Wednesday, 19 year old Emmanuel Yisreal pleaded guilty to one count of predatory criminal sexual assault of a child, and was sentenced to eight years in the Illinois Department of Corrections.

Yisreal is alleged to have had sexual contact with a 12 year old boy on two occasions in 2018.

In a separate case, Yisreal still faces charges of aggravated vehicular hijacking, armed violence and aggravated battery.

That case is set for a January jury trial.
