Quincy Man Jailed After Pulling Gun on Police

Two Quincy men are arrested after one of them pulls a gun on a peace officer. 

Quincy Police report the event happened at the Eagle’s Nest Hotel on Gardner Expressway at 11:38 p.m. Saturday. When an officer approached the two men, one of them pulled out a gun. Both men then ran into the hotel.

Police recovered the weapon in a hotel room. Officers then arrested 31 year-old Daniel Montgomery on charges of Aggravated Assault with a Firearm, Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and several warrants. He was lodged in the Adams County Jail.

The second subject, 21 year-old Colton Parsons of Quincy was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle.
